Caught in the Middle – the RAF in Palestine – 1948 – 1949
This talk covers three incidents where five RAF aircraft were shot down by Israeli aircraft, resulting in the loss of four RAF aircrew and illustrates how similar incidents occurred both before and after these three events.
I gave this talk to the Probus Club of Ledbury on 6 Mar 2023.
