About The Speaker...
I am South African born Authorpreneur with a deep sense of community – the concept of Ubuntu (I am because we are). I write non-fiction and teach others to do the same. I am a speaking coach and enjoy sharing on stages around the world. As a tour guide I worked across the UK, Ireland, Europe, the Balkans and on cruises in the Mediterranean and in Russia. I am also a London City Guide. Today I teach walking tour guiding where my love of history is expressed to its fullest.
About Their Talks...
My favourite teacher at high school was Miss Baker, my history teacher. Today my talks come out of my love of history, which Miss Baker instilled, and my excitement for small business. Story is deeply embedded in my talks as I share my experiences, perspectives and observations. I enjoy interactive experiences for my audiences (whether it’s a talk, a workshop or a training experience). I held the TEDx licence for 4 years. I coach public speaking at residential retreats and am able to share my top tips for making talks relevant and filled with story.
**Carte Blanche – If you need a speaker for your event and have a topic in mind, let me know. I am always really keen to research and share gems in any serious or entertaining setting. I have done talks about everything from gold to generals (and everything in-between).
