About me...

Now recently retired from working in the security finance field in London, I speak on the two main topics, Avoiding Cyber Crime & Fraud and Home Security and the amazing hobby of Entering and Winning Consumer Competitions.
I am an enthusiastic and engaging speaker, personable and inspirational, who aims to inform and entertain in equal measure. I am qualified to an advanced level.

About my Talks...

I am a stand alone speaker and require no equipment, apart from a couple of long tables to display various items I will bring along with me. If it is a very large group, I am happy to speak on a microphone if you can provide one. The HAPPY Talk

Well we all need to have the ‘H’’ word back in our lives, especially after the recent challenges of lockdown, so let’s have a happy chat and discuss what happiness really means to us. In this speech I will aim to be as interactive with you the audience as I possibly can, we all have ideas of what makes us feel happy, so the more we open up and share these ideas, then we may just be able to rub our own piece of happiness off on others….

Avoiding Cyber Crime & Fraud and Ways to look after your Home - Now updated to include Coronavirus/COVID-19 scams)

Sadly Cyber Crime is now the biggest crime in the UK and there are new scams popping up every single day to try and trick us into parting with our hard earned cash. Hence, I have updated my talk to include Coronavirus/COVID-19 scams.
In my presentation I will tell you certain stories that will illustrate how easy it is for any of us to get caught out, but more importantly, ideas on how to try and avoid these scams in the first place, before we become a victim.
Our houses are also vulnerable to unwanted attention and I talk about some of the many ways to help protect our homes, some more easy and effective than you may think. My presentation is both informative and very enjoyable to listen to and most of the time generates many questions from the various groups I have the pleasure to present to.

Competitions - Entering and How to Win them!!!

I have been entering consumer competitions for over 40 years and have won many amazing prizes and travelled to many beautiful countries. I have attended incredible sports events such as The London Olympics and met some of the Worlds best known celebrities, see photo with Lorraine Kelly and myself, taken at the ITV studios in London, they truly do call me ‘The King of Comps’
I will communicate to your audience in a very fun and encouraging way, just some of my stories and inspire them to maybe start entering competitions themselves, by giving them many of the tips and tricks to entering that I have built up over the last 40+ years of me entering and winning.
