I am a trained design engineer who ran his own manufacturing company for 30 years, while also restoring for my own use Vintage Cars, Tudor Houses and Edwardian Yachts. I have founded and run many successful campaigns (saving Suffolk’s Small Schools etc) Clubs and Associations. I stood for Parliament in 2001. I started writing seriously in 2002, Short Stories, Verse and a huge Romance The Golden Path, during which I have built a 1,000 book classical library. I have been a ‘working’ husband to two WI Presidents.
About my presentation...
This is pure READING & TALKING for which, unless the hall is vast, I need no props; I will bring my own ‘music-stand’ for my papers.
Very Happy to do After Dinner Speaking but need to know the time you want please, so I can tailor.
Fee:
£50 for a 45 minute presentation within ten miles of my home in Leek, North Staffordshire. For venues further afield I charge 30p per mile.
For a longer presentation, 75 to 90 minutes my fee is £75 with travel expenses at 30p per mile outside ten miles of my home. The longer presentation will include a break for drinkies.
