A graduate of the University of Lancaster and former lecturer at the University of Kent, I have written extensively on the theme of nations preparing for war and I have a particular interest in the naval dockyards (especially those along the South Coast and London) together with inter-war aviation. I have written a number of books on those themes as well as several on my current home area of Chichester and former home in the Medway Towns.
About my talks...
Each of my talks is accompanied by a digital slide presentation saved on memory stick and/or DVD. I can provide a digital projector and laptop but I prefer these to be already in place and set up.
Fee:
Negotiable depending upon the size of the audience. My starting figure is £50 plus modest travelling expenses if more than ten miles from my base in Chichester.
Areas to which I am prepared to travel: West Sussex/South-East Hampshire. I will travel greater distances for one-day events
