I have been in the registration service for 38 years so have seen many changes. My talk is interesting with amusing stories where I relate some of the incidents that have occurred over the years. I include a few activities such as naming of a pretend baby and a celebration ceremony.
I am Lady Sandra Highsted of “Lochaber and Glencoe”. Some Clubs enjoy using my title to introduce me, or to advertise to their members that they have a “Lady” coming to talk to them.
About my talk...
My talks are ‘stand alone’ and as well as a large table to put my portable lectern on I need two chairs for my props. My talks last between 45 – 60 mins.
Fee:
My fee within twenty miles of Stevenage is £80.00. For venues further afield travelling expense will apply. I am willing to visit places near Hertfordshire such as Biggleswade, Stotfold, Clifton, Sandy etc which are usually easy to find, as are close to the A1M.
