About me...
I am currently the CEO of ‘It’s On The Ball’ a Testicular Cancer charity based in Norfolk. I served in the RAF for 30 years and during that time I was first diagnosed with Testicular Cancer. That diagnosis was over 32 years ago and I’m still around to tell my tale!
I am passionate about raising awareness of Testicular Cancer, not many people know it is a young man’s cancer – it can be seen as a taboo subject, but my talks are informative, interesting, and light-hearted in parts. My aim in delivering these talks is to save young lives.
I can give my talk as a virtual presentation (zoom).
About my Talks...
My talks use Powerpoint with some video content. I can provide all necessary AV equipment if required. The talk takes 30 to 40 minutes depending on audience but can be tailored to suit individual needs. It is suitable for 14 year olds upwards and we encourage all genders to attend (you be surprised how many Mum’s say, ‘I wish I’d known this’ following my talk).
I can also deliver stand alone talks, and I am able to offer daytime and evening short notice talks.
Fee:
My fee is £100.00 plus travel costs at 45p/mile. The fee includes the cost of information literature distributed to the audience.
A discounted fee may be available to youth organisations.
I cover East Anglia (Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk). I am prepared to travel outside of this area but this my involve charging for overnight accommodation.
Please note: The fee is paid directly to the It’s On The Ball charity, I only receive the travel costs (I am a paid Trustee of the charity).
